Two paintings completed today, the Quickdraw (see previous post), and this one done in the valley. I had fun with the color in this one. The photograph is terrible, lots of glare, and the line of trees running up from left to right are not that dark…I’ll try to re-photograph tomorrow.
So far, looks like everyone’s favorite for the competition is…drumroll…“Alta Lake #2”! This is my favorite as well, so it’s the one! One painting is selected for the jury and to be shown at the Gala Party tomorrow night, and the remaining paintings are available at the two-day sale. I may paint another one in the morning…if it’s good, I could do a quick switch. Thanks again everyone for your great feedback this week!
