Wow, what an incredible day today! The light was crystal clear, probably thanks to the unrelenting winds we had. Some neighbors lost tree limbs, we faired well. I needed to find a wind break to paint, so stayed close to home. The Rhododendron’s out in front of our house are in full bloom, so I painted a study of them. The gardener’s had also been here a couple of days before, so the bushes were trimmed just right!
Rhododendons – Oil on Canvas – 11×14
This was painted very much in the style of one of my favoriate painter’s, Camille Przwodeck, who I get to paint with this Monday. Tomorrow (Sunday), I’m off to San Francisco to paint cityscales while Mike & friends attend the Giants game.
Hi Ed. I love this painting! And your work in general. I found the blog through Jeff Hayes and look forward to seeing and reading more about your art.
