Recieved a letter today inviting me to participate in “Peninsula Plein Air”, an invitational exhibtion at Filoli (the mansion used in the TV show “Dallas” and films like “The Wedding Planner”). Sounds like fun. I need to submit 3 paintings of the Peninsula. What do you think about the paintings below? I have some time to paint…the deadline for my candidates is June 23rd. Need to get crack’n, if the weather would cooperate. We’ve had almost non-stop rain this week.

The exhibition will run at Filoli from August 4th to September 3rd. A “Meet the Artists Day” reception is planned for Saturday, August 12. I’ll post details about that once I know more.
