I paid my dues yesterday with mixed weather–today was fantastic! I completed two paintings and met several other local artists, including renowned portrait artist Bart Lindstrom, a really nice guy. I’ll post one today, the other tomorrow. This is from Pescadero Point, on the “17 Mile Drive“.
I actually painted this smaller study second, after a larger painting. I find having the premixed piles of paint ready allows me to paint loose, smaller works quickly. I needed to paint this quickly as I could see the fog in the distance coming in and finished just in time.
Wow, I like! The thick strokes really bring the painting out.
Wow – this is just awesome – we are in the middle of yet another snow storm and the sun and green are so inviting!
Hey: thanks for the free publicity! Keep up the good work! CM
