Estes Park Plein Air, Day 6, AM
I met Ron Schlorff and Julia Seelos today on a riverbed inside Moraine Park for a morning of painting. I had a back spasm this morning (I have a herniated disk), so decided to take it easy. I found a spot in the shade and sat down to paint the work below.
Time for a break! Painting 5 days straight plein air, sunrise to sunset is taking it’s toll. I have enough for the show, so I’m going to take the rest of the day off and then attend a party at my host’s home, gallery owners Ron and Ann Wilcocks. Maybe i’ll take tomorrow off too
Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.

Wow. This one is great! I love the warm colors accented by the blues of the water. Really makes me feel like I was in the shade with you. I’m almost sad and dissappointed in that the area you’ve focused on is so great, it really makes me want to see more of the surroundings.

My favorite is #1. Great colors and vivid! Hope you were able to use the point driver that I left with Ron at Earthwood Collections. See you Saturday - hope your back feels better. Cynthia Reid
